The marriage of Miss Esther Stargard and Ernest Rosenow occurred Saturday evening at the parsonage of St. Paul's Lutheran church, Rev. G.A. Kuhn officiating. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Lydia Stargard, and Arthur Rosenow was best man. Mr. and Mrs. Rosenow left that evening on a wedding trip to Seattle, Wash., California and Yellowstone Park. They will reside on Mr. Rosenow's farm, north of Oconomowoc.

A life long resident of Oconomowoc and vicinity, Mrs. Ernst Rosenow, 56, died Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital, Watertown. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 8 at Lyke funeral home at 1:30 p.m. to St. Paul's Lutheran church at 2 p.m. with Rev. William Eggers as the officiating clergyman. Burial was in LaBelle cemetery.

Esther Stargard Rosenow was born on December 11, 1893 in Oconomowoc to Julius and Mathilda Wendt Stargard. She became the wife of Ernst Rosenow on February 6, 1915 in Oconomowoc. She was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran church and the Ladies Guild of that church.

The deceased is survived by her husband, Ernst, one daughter, Mrs. Glenn Thompson, Cataract, Wis., one son, Clarence, her mother, Mrs. Julius Stargard, one sister, Viola, and one brother, Herbert, all of Oconomowoc.
