[headline] Ernst Rosenow Dies Wednesday At Black River Falls

Ernst Rosenow passed away Wednesday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Glenn Thompson, at Black River Falls. While not in the best of health for the last few years he had not been definitely ailing until January of this year. His son, Clarence, lives in Oconomowoc.

A life-long resident of this area, he was born in February of 1875 at the Town of Ashippun. During his active years he was a farmer at Brown Street. Mrs. Rosenow, nee Esther Stargard, died in Mar. of 1950. They were married in Oconomowoc in 1915.

Mr. Rosenow was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the pastor, the Rev. C.H. Clausing, will conduct funeral services. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
