Merle T. Paul, 93, 175 McCrum St., died at 7:27 a.m. Tuesday (October 22, 1985) at Huntington Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Paul lived in Huntington since 1915, and was an inspector for Lime City Manufacturing from 1942 to 1945.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Huntington County Senior Citizens, Inc., past worthy matron of the Andrews Order of the Eastern Starm a member of Floral Chapter 75 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Fort Wayne Court Three of Ameroth.

Mrs. Paul was born Nov. 18, 1891 in Wells County to Lewis S. and Rosanna Smith Thomas, and her marriage was on June 2, 1915 in Union Township, Huntington County to Charles M. Paul, who died April 20, 1954.

Survivors include a son, Lynn Edwin Paul, Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Rosanna) Navin, Joppa, Md. and four grandchildren. A son, Thomas G. Paul, and a brother, Floyd Thomas are deceased.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Deal & Robbins Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, with Rev. Albert Clark officiating, assisted by Rev. Laurence I. Smith. The Order of the Eastern Star will hold twilight servicesat 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, and preferred memorials are to the Trinity United Methodist Church Building Fund. Burial will be in the Lancaster Cemetery.
