[Obituary for Sarah Caley, from the Huntington Daily News-Democrat, 26 Sep 1902, p1.]

Sarah E. Caley, nee Duck Wall, wife of Samuel B. Caley, was born January 17, 1813, died September 20, 1902, at the age of eighty-nine years. She was married to S.B. Caley May 13, 1837. They lived together sixty-five years. She was the mother of nine children, all living. Children and grandchildren and great grandchildren make a generation of 105. Six of her great granddaughters acted as pall bearers. S.B. Caley, her husband, is in his ninety-first year. He is very feeble. He was at one time judge of the Huntington circuit court.

[Editing note: this obituary correctly reports her birth date, but the incorrect year. Sarah was born in 1815, not 1813, so I suspect a simple typographical error or possibly a mis-reading of a handwritten date in the original text before typesetting. Likewise, her marriage date is reported correctly, but with the wrong year - it should be 1814, not 1817, so I suspect a similar reason for this discrepancy.]
