[first clipping headline] Couple to Mark 55th Anniversary Here Christmas

Christmas Day will have a double meaning for Mr. and Mrs. Edward Watson Sr., this year, for they will mark, besides the regular Christmas Day, their 55th wedding anniversary.

The celebration will include the regular family dinner for the couple, who have been residents of Clairton for some 20 years, at their home at 522 Eighth St., Wilson District.

The 78-year-old Mr. Watson and his wife, now 74, were married Christmas, 1900, in Monongahela. She was the former Margaret Bayha of that city.

Since coming to Clairton and until late years, they were active members of Pine Run Methodist Church. Mr. Watson, now retired, was for many years a machinist at Marine Ways of U.S. Steel's Clairton Works. Now, he and his wife, who enjoy fair health, spend much of their time in home chores.

Members of their family to attend the dinner will include their two sons, Lewis E. and Thomas A. Watson and their daughter, Mrs. Henry Hughes, their seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and their son-in-law and daughters-in-law, all of Clairton.
