Narrative

Her father's obituary names her Mrs. Kathrine Hughes of Clairton, Pennsylvania.

ADDENDUM: In a handwritten notebook on the Bayha line, Jane Anne Thomas notes her husband's name as Henry Hughes, b. 1902. She also appears to note children named Chester (b. 27 Aug 1931) and Evan (b. 24 Jan 1939).

SECOND ADDENDUM: Buried in Jefferson Memorial Park in Pleasant Hills, Allegheny Cty, Pennsylvania - the same cemetery in which parents Ed and Margaret (Bayha) Watson are buried - are burial listings for Katherine M. and Henry Hughes. The birthdate on the listing for Katherine matches up with the one I have from Jane Anne, and the section and plot location for her burial and Henry's are the same, suggesting that the listing is for the daughter of Margaret and Ed, and that daughter's husband. I'm now questioning whether the spelling I have for Kathryn is correct, as well as the order of her given names - whether Katherine was a middle name or a first name. Either way, she seems to have been called Katherine.

Additionally, a public records search for her son, Chester, turns up a record for Henry Chester Hughes Jr., with a birthdate that matches the one from Jane Anne's notes, and lists his residence (after 2000) as Florida. This would indicate that his father's full name was Henry Chester Hughes, Sr.
