Narrative
This photo has been a challenge, both because of the age and quality, and because of the lack of information. The original is a photo postcard with no date, note, or address on the back, and is of George Lewis Bayha Sr., his wife Julietta (McFarland) Bayha, their four adult children, and at least some of the grandchildren. The photo is likely from somewhere in western Pennsylvania - the bulk of the family lived in the general vicinity of Monongahela, Washington Cty, Pennsylvania - and must date prior to March of 1914, when Julietta died. I believe it is likely from several years earlier than that, given the lack of older grandchildren.
The six adults, from left to right, should be:
Mary Agnes Bayha (m. Myers)
Margaret Kerr Bayha, down a step and slightly right from Mary Agnes (m. Watson)
George Lewis Bayha Sr.
Lydia May Bayha (m. Luker)
Julietta (McFarland) Bayha
George Lewis Bayha Jr.
There are eight children depicted, presumably all grandchildren of George Lewis Sr. and Julietta; two are apparently infants. The oldest is likely Hazel May Luker (daughter of Lydia May), seated on the far lower left. Between guessing her apparent age and the count of the grandchildren, I have assumed this photo to be from around late 1900 to early 1901. That would make the two infants likely to be Leitha Louise Luker (daughter of Lydia May) and Margaret Helen Myers (daughter of Mary Agnes). It's also possible that the youngest pictured infant is Lewis Edward Watson (son of Margaret Kerr), which would make this late 1901 or early 1902.
