John "Phillip" Thomas, 43, Phoenix, Ariz., died at 11:30 p.m. Monday (Dec. 23, 1985) in a Phoenix hospital of injuries suffered in a fall at his home.
Mr. Thomas was a former resident of Huntington County. He graduated in 1961 from Union Township High School, and was a musician in the Navy. He was employed as a ticket manager for Greyhound Bus Co.
He was born Feb. 2, 1942 in Union Township to Floyd and Mary Bayha Thomas. His marriage was Sept. 2, 1977.
Survivors include his wife, Maria; a step-son, Thomas; his mother, Mrs. Mary Thomas, Fort Wayne; a brother, Dean Thomas, Huntington; and a sister, Jane Ann Thomas, Fort Wayne.
His father, Floyd Thomas Sr., and two brothers, Floyd Thomas Jr. and Robert Lewis Thomas, preceded him in death.
Services and burial will be Friday in Phoenix.
