Narrative

In her notes, Jane Anne Thomas has recorded both 13 Jul and 18 Jul 1890 as the death date for Emma Bayha, but without indicating specific sources. Only one of the three obituary clippings for Emma Bayha Oman (from Jane Anne's files) gives a death date, and that one reports 19 July 1890. Two of the clippings report a birthdate of 1 Jun 1853, while one gives a date of 24 Jun 1853. Additionally, Jane Anne gives her name as Emeli Emma; it is not known at this point what her given name was.

ADDENDUM: Her given name was either Emeli or Emilie, though the spelling is uncertain at this point; Emma was a family nickname.

SECOND ADDENDUM: One of the obituary clippings from the files gives her marriage date as 20 Aug 1877, while another gives it as 30 Aug 1877. The Indiana marriage record I've found gives a date of 30 Aug 1877.
