Narrative

As far as I have been able to determine, Anna Helen Bayha and husband Dan Tremain (sp?) had no children; the only pictures I have seen of them show them at various ages, and no children present or pictured.

ADDENDUM: In her notes, Jane Anne Thomas gives the same birth date for Ella, but a year of 1857. She also mentions that Ella had no children, and that Dan was married previously and when he died he was buried next to his first wife.

Jane Anne also notes that her mother, Ella's niece (Mary Alice Bayha Thomas), would visit the Tremains in Delta, and that Dan and Ella met while Ella was visiting friends in Ohio. She notes further that Ella was quite deaf, and used an ear trumpet "shaped like a teapot."
