[headline] Mrs. Fishbaugh Dies of Stroke

Death occurred at 5:45 p.m. Monday in Huntington Hospital for Mrs. Vaughn (Edna M.) Fishbaugh, 78, of Huntington Route 4, where she had been a patient since suffering a massive stroke three weeks ago.

Born Aug. 22, 1897 in Union Twp., Wells County, she was a daughter of Monro and Mollie Kline Thomas. Her marriage to Mr. Fishbaugh, who survives, took place Jan. 8, 1921 in Bluffton.

A member of the Markle Church of Christ, Mrs. Fishbaugh as also a member of the Mothers of World War II, Markle Unit 107. In addition to the husband, she is survived by a son, Kedric of Bluffton Route 1; two brothers, Vaughn Thomas of Markle Route 1 and Keith Thomas of Huntington Route 8, and three grandchildren.

Calling is from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Myers Funeral Home in Markle.

Services at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Markle Church of Christ will be in charge of Rev. J. Roscoe Adams and burial will be in the Emmanuel Cemetery, near Rockford.
