Narrative
The vital dates for this child came from an annotation on the back of a family photo (found in the files of Jane Anne Thomas) of the children of Dale Monroe Thomas with their father and some of their children; the annotation includes a lot of information on the family's vital dates, and below is a note that reads:
"Infant Daughter of Molly and D.M. Thomas
Born Sept. 13, 1882
Died Sept. 23, 1882
No Name on Birth Certificate!
I found this information at the Huntington Co. library and Court House. - BT"
I believe this was written by Bob Thomas, son of Vaughn K. Thomas and a correspondent of Jane Anne's with regards to genealogy and family history.
I also believe the dates may be mistaken - at least the year - if only because 1882 was eight years before Dale Monroe Thomas and Molly Kline were married, and ten years before the birth of the "next" child, Faye Thomas.
