[headline] Emory R. Forst Died Suddenly Today
[second line] Former Bluffton Business Man Died At Sullivan - To Be Buried Here
Sullivan, Ind., April 12 - Emory R. Forst, 56, proprietor of the Forst Five and Ten Cent Store in this city, died at 8:15 o'clock this morning, after a brief illness from heart trouble.
He had been seriously sick only since Sunday night, but for several days he had been complaining of not feeling well. Last Saturday, although not able to walk around, Mr. Forst spend the day in his store. It was about ten o'clock Sunday night that his condition became suddenly much worse, and from that time is was seen that he probably had only a few hours to live.
[inset headline] Died Before Daughter Arrived.
The relatives at his bedside when he died were his wife, his son, Earl Forst, of Bloomfield, Ind., his brother B.F. Forst and wife, of Linton, Ind. The brother, B.F. Forst and his wife reached here just ten minutes before death came. The son, Earl Forst, and his wife, had been in Sullivan since Monday. Another brother, Albert M. Forst, and a daughter, Mrs. Homer B. Wiltse, and her husband, all of Bluffton, Ind., are expected to arrive here this afternoon.
No funeral arrangements have been completed, other than that the body will be taken to Bluffton, his old home, for burial. The family is awaiting for the arrival of other relatives.
