Narrative
Buried in the same cemetery, and at the Forst family stone with a headstone of the same style as William's, is Mary Catherine Forst (b. 1919, d. 1995); I have presumed this to be his wife, but I have not confirmed this as of yet, though substantiating that assumption is a clipping from the files of Jane Anne Thomas of a quarter-page newspaper ad (with a hand-written date of "Friday, July 31st 1959") believed to be from a Bloomfield publication. The ad is for Forst's Ben Franklin Store, offering their customers assurances that service will continue as before and thanks for the years of patronage. The primary signatories to the ad are Mary Catherine Forst and Rolland Farris, with eight employees' names listed below that. The ad is presumably a response to the then-recent death of William Forst, grandson of Emery Forst and great-nephew of the store's founder, Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Forst.
Also included in Jane Anne's files was a picture of a baby boy, with annotations on the back giving the age (six months) and name as Earl Frederick Forst, in handwriting I don't recognize. Below that in the handwriting of Mary Alice (Bayha) Thomas, is written "grandson of Earl." This is presumably William's son, as neither of Fred Forst's children were named Earl.
