[Obituary for Elsie Wolter, from the Oconomowoc Enterprise, 23 Feb 1984, sec. 1 p4.]

Mrs. Elsie Wolter, 82, 140 W. Jefferson St., died Saturday morning, Feb. 18 at Shorehaven Lutheran Home. She was an Oconomowoc resident for the past 58 years.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, where she was a member. Entombment followed at Glenview Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Paul L. Borgman and C.H. Clausing officiated.

She was born Sept. 12, 1901 in Neosho, the daughter of Ernst and Anna Lehman Nagel. On Aug. 18, 1925, she married Leonard A. Wolter in Hustisford.

She was a member of the Ladies Aid and Senior Citizens of St. Paul's Church.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard; a son, Everett (Betty) Wolter and two daughters, Evelyn (Melvin) Grunewald and Inez (Dennis) Mallow, all of Oconomowoc; a sister, Ida (Ransom) Endres, Hartford; a brother, Frank Nagel, West Bend; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. Two brothers, a sister and a grandson preceded her in death.

She was in state at Notbohm Funeral Home Monday and at the church Tuesday prior to the service.
