Olive B. Powell, 91, Winona Lake, died at 12:30 am.m Tuesday (Dec. 23, 1997) at the Grace Village Health Care Facility in Winona Lake.
Mrs. Powell was a registered nurse and a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of God in Warsaw. She graduated from Huntington High School in 1924.
She was born July 13, 1906 in Huntington to Lee L. and Mary Rosa May Espich Branstrator. She married Rev. Lloyd E. Powell in Highland Park, Ill. on May 31, 1931. He died in December of 1978.
Survivors include a son, Douglas L. Powell, Indianapolis; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ethel Branstrator, Huntington.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Clema Helm and Bessie Branstrator.
Calling is from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Myers Funeral Home, HUntington Chapel, where funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Jerry Yoder officiating.
Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
