Narrative
Neither Bessie nor sister Ethel Branstrator ever married, and are buried together with a shared headstone in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Huntington, Huntington Cty, Indiana. I suspect that Ethel was the last of her immediate family, as her side of the headstone does not appear to have the dates engraved, according to a recent photo on FindaGrave.com.
Interestingly, in the files from Jane Anne Thomas is a typed history of a local dance band, called Glissando's, of which Jane Anne was a member. In her bio paragraph, she mentions that her piano instructor was Bessie Branstrator, who was a fifth cousin (once removed) of Jane Anne's.
