Narrative
I have found minimal records for Minnie Schwantes thus far; the first reference I stumbled across for her was the 1900 US Census listing for her parents' household, followed by her marriage record (to August Schwensow) from 23 Feb 1905 in Horicon, Dodge Cty, Wisconsin. In the marriage record, her parents are named "Friedr. F. Schwantes" and "Louisa Luebke."
The 1900 census record gives her birthdate as August 1887, though her gravestone (naming her Minnie Schwensow) gives her birthdate as 30 Aug 1886. All the other birthdates referenced on the census listing agree with the other records I've found, except for her brother August (named "Fred" on the census listing).
ADDENDUM: Her obituary gives her birthdate as 30 Aug 1886. Additionally, it says she lived in Dodge Cty her entire life, and names her two surviving sons. This led to finding additional census records for her household.
SECOND ADDENDUM: This is a to-do for the 1905 Wisconsin State Census, which puts Minnie and husband August (and his mother Henrietta) in Hubbard.
Narrative
