Narrative
The text Christian Metzger: Founder of an American Family 1682-1942, p182, gives no information for Catharine other than she died at age sixteen.
Given her placement in the list of her parents' children - between Mary, b. about 1820, and Jacob, b. about 1824 - it would seem likely she was born sometime around 1822, and thus died around 1838. Incidentally, this was about the same time that her older sister Elizabeth died, so perhaps the two were afflicted with the same illness at about the same time.
