Mr. Pieper was born in Dodge County, August 6, 1897, and came to the town of Beaver with his parents in 1900. He was married at Greenwood, October 1, 1925 to Sophia Susa. He was a cheese maker until 1930 when he began operating the farm that has ever since been his home.

Survivors are his wife; one daughter Genevieve at home, a sister, Mrs. William Fuhrman, Loyal: and a brother, Arnold Pieper, Loyal. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.

Pallbearers were Harold Cook, Alfred Anderson, James Haliowell, Russell Johnson, Ted Piekola, and Carl Morrow.

The hymns, "Abide With Me" and "What a Friend We have In Jesus" were sung by Mr. Ervin Dux and Mrs. Ervin Noeldner. Miss Carol Noeldner was organist.
