8. Thomas (3) Cutler (Thomas (2), James(1)) was born January 19, 1678, at Cambridge Farms. He married Tabitha Rice, a
sister of John Rice of Sudbury. Mr. Cutler was by occupation a blacksmith, a trade which he followed in connection with farming. His farm was located on the west side of Sudbury river. He owned the covenant in Lexington, March 17, 1706, and died at Sudbury, March 26, 1718. John Haynes was appointed guardian for his son Abner. His widow Tabitha was administratrix of his estate, which was valued, viz.: Personal, £180, and real es- £241 12s. 6d. Children:
