Narrative
Details from the notes and files of Jane Anne Thomas seem to line up with other portions of a history of the Lucas Flack family (published by the Emmitsburg, Maryland Historical Society); the Flacks were of German origin, resided in Maryland, and relocated to Ohio. I have not yet established that Anna Mary Flack Thomas was a daughter of Lucas Flack, but she would have been a middle child and not the eldest daughter, judging by the age ranges of his children noted in the Emmitsburg history. Additionally, she and Isaac married when she was nineteen years old, and had settled in Tuscarawas Cty, Ohio by 1812; a middle daughter married at a reasonably young age who then leaves the area with her husband in her early twenties (at least some of their children were born in Pennsylvania as early as 1803) might well have escaped the local records and histories of that time period.
The index of marriage records for Frederick Cty, Maryland gives only the names and marriage date of Isaac Thomas and Anna Maria Flack; a church record of the wedding (or similar document) may well provide more information, such as parentage.
One other item that indicates that she was a daughter of Lucas Flack is that one of the youngest sons (possibly their youngest child overall) of Isaac and Anna Maria bears the name of John Lucas Flack Thomas, presumably named for Anna Maria's father.
