Mrs. Iola Catherine Stonebraker, 81, died at 12:45 p.m. Thursday at the home of a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Stonebraker, 550 Wesley Street. She had been ailing during the winter and was seriously ill a week. Mrs. Stonebraker was born in Logan County, Ohio, to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rhoads February 16, 1857, and was married to Clarence Elmer Stonebraker February 29, 1888. The husband died June 6, 1923.

Surviving are three sons, Rondel, Dale, and Marion Stonebraker, all of this city; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. J.A. Eckrote, of Geneva, Ind. and Mrs. Ida Buroker, of Fletcher, Ohio. Two sons, Donald and Loren, are dead. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of this city where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday. Rev. J.E. Seaholm, Pastor will officiate and the burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
