Ruth Ilene married to Russell Muttart (b. 18 May 1919) in Wells Cty, Indiana on 8 Dec 1945. This marriage must have been short-lived, as Russell remarried just four years later, and on that record gave his divorce date as 1945. Whether he had misremembered, or accidentally reported the date of his first marriage (rather than his first divorce), or even whether the marriage really did last only weeks, is unknown.

Ruth does not appear to have remarried after that first marriage, and does not appear to have had any children.
