Narrative

In the census records I've found so far, his name is always given as "Spurgeon T. Wilson," while on his marriage license application it reads "Thomas S. Wilson." I am unsure as of yet of the proper order for the names, though I suspect that he was born Spurgeon Thomas, and chose to start calling himself "Thomas" as an adult, moving the other name to the middle position.
