SPARTA, Wis. - (Special) - Mrs. Emma Rudkin, 89, died at her home on Long Court street in Sparta Tuesday morning. The Rev. E.E. Clarke will officiate at funeral services at the Plummer funeral home Thursday at 8 p.m. with burial at Cataract.

Surviving Mrs. Rudkin are four daughters, Mrs. T.R. (Annie) Lawrence, Mrs. Edward (Ethel) Wells, Mrs. Arthur (Lillian) Larson, and Mrs. C.E. (Florence) Lehman, all of Sparta; and four sons, George of Shamrock; John of New Lyme; Arthur of Cuba City and Dewey of Cataract. A daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Rose) Thompson, died last year.

SPARTA - Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Rudkin, 89, were to be held at 2 p.m. today in the Plummer funeral home. The Rev. E.E. Clarke was to officiate with burial in Cataract cemetery.

Mrs. Rudkin died at her home Tuesday.

The former Emma Laxton was born in England and was married there to George Rudkin. They moved to Chicago, then to a farm in the town of New Lyme, and 30 years ago came to Sparta. He died eight years ago.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. T.R. Lawrence, Mrs. Edward Wells, Mrs. Arthur Larson, and Mrs. C.E. Lehman, all of Sparta, and four sons, George, Shamrock; John, New Lyme; Arthur, Cuba City, and Dewey, Cataract.
