Narrative

Note: Researching the family of Reuben H. Weible

I have had some difficulty establishing the whether there was much continuance of Reuben's family line in further genereations. The notes for his three children contain more detailed information, and here I will present only a summary.

- Lois Amelia, his oldest child and only daughter, married J. Ray Butterfield and had two known children for whom I have not been able to find further information after the 1940 US Census. I do not know at this time if either child married or had any children of their own.

- James Orville, his second child and oldest son, married Hazel Clara Halcro and had at least five children, at least two of whom survived to adulthood. At least one of those two (daughter Corabelle) married, but again it is uncertain whether there were any children born to her or any of James Orville's other children.

- Melbourne K., the youngest known child of the family, died at the age of twenty-seven, and the records appear to indicate he was married and may have had a child, but this is not confirmed.
