Mrs. Mary J. Stonebraker, 71, died in her sleep at her home, 300 Oak Street, early Tuesday morning. She had been in failing health the last few years. She was a life long resident of Huntington, born here July 8, 1902, to Gideon and Addie Class Stetzel. She married Dale Stonebraker, who survives, on Jan 12th, 1921. Mrs. Stonebraker was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Other survivors include seven sons: Richard P., Robert D., Dean E., and Neil H., all of Huntington; Keith E., of Ossian; Arthur H., of Kokomo; and James E., of Roanoke; two daughters, Mrs. Darrell (Lois) Offutt, of Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Rex (Norma) Jones of Huntington; 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Everett (Leota) Lindeman of Ft. Wayne, and Mrs. Herbert (Anna) Werling, New Haven; and two brothers, Nelson and Walter Stetzel of Huntingon. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Daniel Stetzel and a half-brother Kenneth Schlaudruff. Friends may call at the Bailey Mortuary after 7 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be held at the chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Gary Colby officiating, followed by burial at Zion Cemetery.
