Narrative
Counted as living with Florence in the 1940 US Census listing for her household are her husband Ray L. Johnson (aged thirty-four) and a son, Robert L. Johnson (aged fourteen), both given as Washington-born. The supplemental information on the FindaGrave.com website's listing for Florence states that "[s]he married Raymond Johnson on Valentine's Day in 1931. Sad to say they were divorced in 1954." I have not found records to validate this, though if correct it suggests that Robert is Ray's son from a previous marriage, as he would have been about five years old at the time of Florence's marriage to Ray.
I have not yet discovered if there were any children born to Florence and Ray.
