There is a Huntington Cty, Indiana marriage record for Evelyn A. Fahl dated 30 Jun 1941 to Wayne Frederick Wolfcale (b. 24 Nov 1918 in Markle, Huntington Cty, Indiana; d. 12 Aug 1965 in Olmsted Cty, Minnesota); Wayne enlisted for WWII in November of 1941, and he is buried in the Wolfcale family plots in Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery, Kokomo, Howard Cty, Indiana. Evelyn does not appear to be buried there, and Wayne appears to be buried alone based on the photo on the FindaGrave.com website.

The 1992 obituary for her brother, Kenneth Fahl, names his sisters Eloise Foster and Evie Barnhisel; the US Social Security Death Index file for Evelyn Barnhisel matches her birthdate, gives her death as occurring in Jan 1996, and last place of residence as Huntington Cty, Indiana, so I believe the record matches. I've not found a specific death date, a burial location, or information on any additional marriages for Evelyn, nor whether she and Wayne divorced or whether she was widowed at his death. I also have no information on any children of hers at this point.
