Narrative

Note: Margaret Tribolet

Margaret was an unmarried school teacher, living with her parents in Bluffton, Wells Cty, Indiana. On 21 Sep 1910, she boarded an interurban train from Bluffton to Fort Wayne with her father, John Wesley Tribolet. At just after noon, a head-on collision with another train occurred, killing nearly all passengers immediately. Margaret suffered a fracture to the base of the skull, and was one of a very few to survive the day of the accident. She died of her injuries in a Fort Wayne hospital ten days later, on 1 Oct 1910.
