Funeral services were held Sunday, April 17, at the Notbohm Funerla Home for Kenneth F. Schoen, 68. Schoen, who resided at 630 Milwaukee St., Delafield, died Thursday, April 14, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

The Rev. John Baumann of the Kettle Morraine United Presbyterian Church offiated at the service. Burial was in the City of Delafield cemetery.

Schoen was born Nov. 19, 1914, in Freeport, Ill., the son of Otto and Myrtle Thorne Schoen. He was married March 6, 1936 at Rockford to Evelyn M. Diamond. The Schoens moved to Delafield from Rockford 18 years ago.

Schoen had been a general manager of the Norco Plastic division of Valspar Corporation. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He had been active in Delafield community affairs, serving as a director of the Delafield Chamber of Commerce, and was a member of the Lake Country Rotary Club. He was a Star in the East of Lodge No. 166 F. and A.M., Rockford; member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Freeport; and the Tobala Temple, Rockford.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; a son, K. Tim (Linda) Schoen, Clarksville, Ga.; a sister, Margaret (Frank) Johnson, Columbia, S.C.; and two grandchildren.

Memorials to Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital will be appreciated.

Visitation was Saturday at the Notbohm Funeral Home.
