Mrs. Etta B. McLauchlin, 83, pioneer Fort Wayne resident and former teacher in the public schools here, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin, Indiana.

Narrative

Neither Etta's obituary, nor her husband's eleven years prior, mention any children; no children ever appear in the census records for their household. Interestingly, in 1900 they have a boarder named John C. Mulford, who married Etta's younger sister Daisy the next year.
