[2nd headline] Former Resident of Marion Dies at Alexandria; Funeral to be Held at Church Today.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Mae Carey, 48, wife of Dr. Fred Carey and former resident of Marion, who died suddenly Tuesday afternoon, will be held at 10:30 am. Thursday in the Alexandria Methodist Church. Rev. A. F. Hogan, pastor of the Van Buren Methodist Church will conduct the rites.
Graveside services will be held in IOOF Cemetery in Marion about 12:30 pm. today.
Mrs. Carey was the former Bessie Brandenburg of Marion, and resided in this city until her marrriage.
She is survived by her husband, who is an Alexandria Chiropractor.
