[headline] Set Rites For H. Fred Carey

Alexandria, Ind., - Henry Fred Carey, fifty-six, chiropractor here for the last 31 years and former state representative, died at his home, 306 East Monroe Street, late Tuesday following a heart attack.

A native of Marion, Dr. Carey came here from Anderson in 1914. He was a member of the First Methodist church and a thirty-second degree Mason.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Clarrisa Cochran Carey, one son, Dr. Carlton Carey, Anderson; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Brinker, near Marion and two brothers, Earnest Carey, Marion, and Dr. Frank Carey, Indianapolis.

The body will be returned to the residence at 5 pm. today to remain until time for Masonic services which will be held at the First Methodist church at 2:30 pm. Friday. Dr. E. D. Imler, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery, Marion.
