Leona Traylor Of Otwell Is Taken By Death.

Mrs. Leona Traylor, 71, wife of George Traylor of Otwell, died at 3 p.m. Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lee Himsel of Danville, Indiana.

Mrs. Traylor had been in failing health for some time, and had been hospitalized on several occasions. She and her husband were residing temporarily with their daughter so they could make more frequent visits to Indianapolis, 25 miles away, where their son, Harold, recently underwent open heart surgery.
Leona Traylor was born in Daviess County on June 6, 1889, the daughter of John Shull and Clara Loughmiller Shull.

Surviving besides the husband are three sons, John and Jerry of Otwell and Harold of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Lee Himsel of Danville and Mrs. Virginia Sorgius of Petersburg; her stepmother, Mrs. Oma (* Othey*) ShuIl of Montgomery; two stepbrothers, Robert Daugherty of Washington and Harvey Daugherty of Bishop, California.; and a stepsister, Mrs. Lucille Montgomery of Washington.
Friends may call after 6 p.m., CDT, today at the Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, CDT, at the Iva Community Church followed by burial in the nearby public cemetery.
