Narrative

Other than the marriage record from 1828, I have not managed to find any record or reference to John Gimlin, husband of Barbara Thomas. As she is named as the head of household in the 1840 US Census, this would suggest that John had died prior to that time. I have no information on his vital dates beyond this speculation, and his birthdate does not appear to have been captured anywhere that might still exist.
