Karen Elaine Ladd, 57, of Auburn, owner of Karen's Stamps 'N'Stuff in Coldwater Crossing in Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, July 14, 1999, in Auburn.
The Adams County native had worked at St. Joseph and Lutheran hospitals, also in home health care, was a member of Wesley Chapel United MethodistChurch and First Assemblyof God.
Surviving are her husband, Jack; sons Brett E. and Jeffrey R. Bradtmiller, both of Fort Wayne; a stepson, Randall L. Ladd of Fort Wayne; stepdaughters Rebecca L. Gross and Rhonda L. Girardot, both of Woodburn; her mother, Della L. Call of Decatur; brothers Edwin Call of Decatur and Raymond Call of Lawton, Mich.; sisters Roseland Hoffman of Roanoke, Grace Kreischer of Palmetto, Fla., and Kathleen Becker of Fort Wayne; and 11 grandchildren. Her brother, Joseph Call, preceded her in death.
Services are 11a.m. Saturday at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur, with calling from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9p.m. today. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery, Decatur.
Memorials are to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church or Cancer Services of Allen County.
