Funeral rites for Mrs. Norma Jean Thompson, 20, wife of St. Leo Everett Thompson and a former resident of the Laurel community, will be held in the Nazarene Church at Laurel at 2 pm Friday. The Rev. Harry Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Laurel North Cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson died Saturday in the Fitzsimmons hospital at Denver, Colorado. Her husband, who is the son of Mr and Mrs Ervin Thompson, of Glenwood, is stationed at Camp Carson, Colorado.

A native of Franklin county, Mrs. Thompson was the daughter of Earl and Frances Matney Patterson of Laurel. She had lived in Colorado for about two years.

Survivors include the husband; the parents; five brothers, Ernest, Donald, Wayne, Larry and Jimmy, all at home; three sisters; Mrs. Robert Hawley of Columbus and Nancy and Jane at home; and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elza Patterson of Milroy and Mrs. John Jinks of Franklin County.
