Margaret A. Graef, daughter of Mrs. Fred Graef, of Plymouth, Wis., and Franklin H. Bayha, formerly of Fort Wayne, were married Saturday, June 15, at 4 p.m. in the McKinley Memorial Chapel at Champaign, Ill. Dr. James R. Hine read the nuptial rite and Lester Van Tress, organist, gave a program of bridal airs. His selections included "Through the Years," "Finlandia," and "Meditation" from "Thais."

The bride's gown of ivory brocade was styled with a sweetheart neckline and short sleeves. She wore a brocaded tiara and a strand of pearls and carried a bouquet of white shasta daisies. The maid of honor, Miss Helen Maki, of Chicago, wore a blue frock of eyelet. Both wore gloves and headbands to match their gowns. The attendants carried yellow roses and blue delphiniums.

Wayne Ring, of Rockford, Ill., was best man and usher was Arthur Leininger, of Nouvoo, Ill. The bride's mother wore a black and white print with black accessories and a corsage of white carnations.

The bridal dinner for the wedding party and family friends followed the marriage and a reception for 35 guests was held at the McKinley Foundation.

The bride attended Plymouth High School and was graduated from the Walther Memorial School of Nursing in Chicago. She has been on general duty at the Carle Memorial Hospital in Urbana, Ill. mr. Bayha, who was graduated from North Side High School in 1940, served in the Navy about three years. He and his wife are living in Urbana, Ill., where Mr. Bayha is a senior student enrolled in the College of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois. Mr. Bayha is a member of Pi Tau Sigma, national honorary mechanical engineering fraternity.

Age 67, died suddenly Sunday, July 8, 1990 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. He was born December 2, 1922, in York, PA, the son of Charles Frederick and Alice Small (Winand) Bayha. On June 15, 1946, he was married to Margaret Graef in Urbana, IL, and she survives. Mr. Bayha was a graduate of the University of Illinois with a BS in Mechanical Engineering Cum Laude. He had been in the Navy ROTC. He was a professional engineer, retiring in 1980. His many professional memberships and associations included the National Societey of Professional Engineers, American Institute of Industrial Engineering, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Institute of Science and Technology at the University of MI, and the Ft. Wayne Naval Reserve. Mr. Bayha pioneered standards for motion time study through the MTM Association and co-authored the association handbook, "Methods Time Measurement". He received the President's Award from the MTM Association. He served in the U.S. Navy as lieutenant junior grade during World War II. Mr. Bayha was a member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ and had sung in the choir for over 25 years. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; seven children, Susan C. Bayha; Bruce F. Bayha, his wife Mary A., and their children, Bruce J. and Barbara K.; Esther A. Bayha-Dowd, her husband Gary, and their children, Jason and Carly; Brian L. Bayha; Laurel A. Bayha and her husband Paul Gurba; Blair A. Bayha; and Julia M. Bayha; two sisters, Martha Wise of Silver Springs, MD, and Sarah Compton of Las Vegas, NV. He was preceded in death by one brother, John Bayha of Las Vegas, NV. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 11, 12:30pm in the sanctuary of Bethlehem United Church of Christ with the Rev. Judith Jahnke officiating. Private graveside services will be held Thursday at Covington Memorial Gardens in Ft. Wayne, IN. Memorial tributes may be made to the Choir Fund of Bethlehem United Church of Christ. The family will receive friends at the MUEHLIG CHAPEL Tuesday, 2-9pm.

Franklin H. Bayha, 67, of Ypsilanti, Mich., formerly of Fort Wayne, died Sunday at his home. A native of York, Pa., he lived in Fort Wayne from age 4 to age 17. He was a retired engineer and Navy veteran. Surviving are his wife, Margaret; four daughters, Susan C. of Kalamazoo, Mich., Julia M. of Ann Arbor, Mich., Esther A. Bayha-Dowd of Lakeside, Calif.; three sons, Bruce F. and Blair A., both of Ypsilanti and Brian L. of Ann Arbor; two sister, Sarah Compton of Las Vegas and Martha Wise of Silver Springs, Md,; and four grandchildren.

Services were Tuesday in Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Ann Arbor, Mich. Graveside services at 12:30 p.m. today in Covington Memorial Gardens, 8326 Covington Road. Burial in the cemetery. Arrangements by Muehlig Funeral Chapel, Ann Arbor, Mich. Memorials to choir fund at Bethlehem United Church of Christ, 423 South Fourth Ave., Ann Arbor, MI 48104.
