FALL RIVER - Phyllis M. Jacob, age 59, of W1614 Shady Lane Rd. died on Tuesday, March 27, 1990 at Columbus Community Hospital. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 31, 1990 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Stephen's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fall River with Rev. David D. Babinec and Rev. Michael A. Wolff officiating. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery in the town of Fountain Prairie.

Mrs. Jacob was born on May 3, 1930 in Columbus to Clarence and Laura (Wagner) Sennhenn. She was married to John Jacob on June 3, 1955 in Columbus. She attended Zion Lutheran School in Columbus and was a graduate of Fall River High School and Columbia County Normal. She taught at country schools near Rio and Keyeser for four years. She taught Sunday school, vacation bible school, and was a leader for the Lutheran Girls Pioneers and was past leader of Fountain Prairie Hustlers 4-H club. She was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, the Dorcus Circle, and the Lutheran Women Missionary Society. She was a past member of the rural Women's club.

Survivors include her husband of Fall River, her father, Clarence Sennhenn of Fall River; three sons, Mark (Pat) Jacob of Columbus, Dan (Mary) Jacob and Steven (Laurie) Jacob both of Fall River, three brothers, Russell (Avada) Sennhenn of Columbus, Gene (Alyce) Sennhenn of Eau Claire, Wayne (Joan) Sennhenn of Canon City, Colo.; three sisters, Lorraine (Tom) Kohn of Watertown, Gladdie Klock of Madison, Judith Butler of St. Joseph, Mo.; six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Sennhenn in 1982. Memorials to St. Stephen's Church, Fall River, the A.L.S. or St. Stephen's radio program, Beaver Dam would be appreciated.
