Narrative

[Obituary for Emma Rothermel, from the Marion Leader-Tribune, 29 May 1943; posted online to the FindaGrave.com website.]

Mrs. Emma Rothermel, 85, died Friday afternoon at her home, 1501 South Branson Street.

She is survived by the son, Harley; a daughter, Mrs. E. F. Bell, and a step-daughter, Mrs. John Kindler, all of Marion; two grand-daughters, Mrs. Joseph Aldrich, Marion, and Mrs. Glen Harvey, Kalamazoo, and a grandson, Albert Pruden, serving with the U. S. Navy at Bunker Hill.

The body has been taken to 2722 South Washington Street where funeral rites will be held at 2 pm. Monday at the Church of God. Rev. W. A. Crumm will officiate.

Burial will be at the IOOF Cemetery.
