Narrative

Gladys married first in 1920 to Charles Jerome Stanton, and remained married to him until they divorced in October of 1947. (The divorce date, as given on the license for Gladys' second marriage, was 21 Oct 1947, while on the license for Charles' second marriage the date was given as 19 Oct 1947.)

While Charles remarried about nine months after the divorce, Gladys did not remarry until 1950 - three years later - to George Raymond Elkins (b. 21 Mar 1901, d. Sep 1971). I have no information on whether either of their second marriages lasted until death.

Gladys is buried in the same cemetery (Lindenwood Cemetery in Fort Wayne, Allen Cty, Indiana) as her first husband, though their stones don't appear to match, and so I would guess they do not share adjacent plots.

Of Gladys' two children, I have not found any information as to whether her son Richard had any children, though her daughter Mary Alice had at least seven.
