On the 1920-1940 US Census records, Homer reported his birthplace as Washington state, and on his WWI Draft Registration card, he stated he was born in Whitman Cty, Washington. His birth record gave his birthplace as Moscow, Latah Cty, Idaho, and his WWII Draft Registration card reported the same.
