GOLDIE M. HOWENSTINE, 99, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Woodview Health Care Center. She retired from Pollack Brothers Garment Factory. Her husband, Charles died in 1947. Surviving are a daughter, Thelma Dammeier of Fort Wayne, a son Charles H. of Fort Wayne: six grandchildren: and 14 great-grandchildren. Services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Klaehn's Chalfant-Perry Chapel, 2423 Fairfield Ave. Calling from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to West Creighton Christian Church.
