Narrative

Clarence married Mildren Arlene Christman, a woman eight years his junior, on his thirty-third birthday in 1936; he died sometime in 1937, and was buried in the Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne, Allen Cty, Indiana.

Mildred remarried in early 1939 to Roman Sorg, a man nearly seventeen years older than she was, and was counted with him in the 1940 US Census in Fort Wayne. No children were counted with them in that listing, suggesting that she and Clarence had had no children prior to his death and her remarriage. There are also no children living with either Clarence's parents or with Mildred's in 1940 that might have been born to their marriage prior to his death.

Mildred remained married to Roman until his death in 1950, with her death coming many years later in 1998. Mildred is buried next to Roman (also in the Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne) with a stone bearing the name "Mildred A. Baker," suggesting that she had remarried sometime after his death - a reasonable and almost likely scenario given than Mildred was only thirty-nine at the time of Roman's death.

I have not determined whether Mildred had any children from any marriage at this point.
