Hollis C. Forst, 92, a resident of Huntington most of his life, died at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 26, 1982) at Miller's Merry Manor.

Mr. Forst was an engineer with the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad for over 50 years, retiring in 1955. He was a member of the Central Christian Church and the Brotherhood fo Railroad Engineers.

He was born Jan. 1, 1890 in Michigan to Clinton and Lydia Nichols Forst, and his marriage was to the former Alma Schrage, who died May 27, 1974.

Surviving are a son, Darwin Forst, Elwood; four granddaughters and 11 great-grandchildren. Deceased are a son, Paul Forst and a brother, Russell Forst.

Friends may call at the Bailey Mortuary from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, with Rev. A.W. Fransworth officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
