Miss Joyce Mavis Pieper chose a full skirted, all over lace white ballerina gown with a lace jacket for her wedding Saturday to Larry Joseph Rueth. A star pointed headpiece with a scattering of jewels held her shoulder length veil. Red roses, white stephanotis and ivy were included in her bouquet.
Nuptial rites were read at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church Rectory by Father Norbert King.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Pieper, Loyal, R. 1, and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Rueth, Loyal, R. 2.
Miss Sherry Davidson of Minneapolis, in a balloon styled dress of pastel yellow nylon chiffon with matching head band and bouquet of yellow carnations and ivy, served as the bride’s maid of honor.
For her bridesmaids the bride chose her niece, Miss Audrey Olson, Loyal and Miss Shirley Molle of Unity. They wore balloon styled gowns of pastel pink nylon chiffon with matching head bands and carried bouquets of pink carnations and ivy.
Attendants for the groom were Tom Annen, who served as best man, and Ronald Rueth, the groom’s brother and Herb Langfeldt, cousin of the groom serving as groomsmen. All are from Loyal.
A navy blue dress with pink rose corsage was worn by the bride’s mother and a black and white two piece dress and pink corsage was worn by the mother of the groom.
A bridal dinner was served at 12:30 at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Arthur Olson. A reception and supper was held at the home of the bride’s parents. A wedding dance was given at Kolby Park Pavilion.
The bride is a graduate of the Loyal High School. The groom attended Loyal schools. He is employed at Rollohome, Marshfield.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Rueth will make their home in Loyal.
Wedding guests were from Milwaukee, Park Falls, Hawkins, Shawano, Spencer, Owen, Curtiss, Greenwood, Janesville, Colby, Unity Loyal and Minneapolis.
