Charles D. Weible

SALMON - Charles David Weible, 62, of Salmon, died Dec. 16, 1991, at Steele Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness.

He was born Jul 31, 1929, at Tulsa, Okla., to Charley D. and Inez Parker Weible. He grew up in Nampa and graduated from Emmett High School. He then entered the U.S. Air Force.

On Oct. 28, 1949, he married Mary Gray. He worked for many years in construction. His favorite work was driving long haul trucks, which he did for more than 30 years. His most recent employment was driving trucks for the Q.B. Corp.

He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

Survivors include his wife of Salmon; his children, Pam Weible of Pocatello and Dave Weible of Salmon; a brother, Jerry Weible of Lacey, Wash.; and six grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Jones & Casey Funeral Home in Salmon with the Rev. Rich Neugebauer of the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Salmon officiating. The service will be combined with the memorial service for his mother-in-law, Marion Ruth VanNess. Burial will be in Salmon Cemetery.
