Mrs. Edith M. Ternet, 64, Brownsburg died Thursday morning, Feb. 17 at her home following an extended illness.

The Allen County native was born June 27, 1918 to Arthur and Amelia Oberley.

Mrs. Ternet resided at Brownsburg 10 years, moving from Pittsfield, IL.

She was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church, Brownsburg.

Survivors are her husband, Lathoyd J. (Bing) Ternet; three sons, Dennis Ternet, Pittsboro, Lynn and Dale Ternet, both of Brownsburg; two daughters, Joanne, West and Doris Nelson, both of Brownsburg; two brothers, Arnold and Wilbur Oberley, both of Monroeville; a sister, Eileen Castleman, New Haven; and eight grandchildren.

Recitation of the Rosary was held Friday evening, Feb. 18 at Jones and Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, where friends called on the family.

The Funeral Mass, officiated by Father John Hall, was Saturday morning, Feb. 19 at St. Malachy Church and burial followed in St. Malachy Cemetery, Brownsburg.
